We really enjoyed our meal here. The spicy chicken sandwich was very good, the burgers are wonderfully made and have a great flavor and the horseradish sauce was amazing. The service was pretty good and the atmosphere was great. The only negative was the chicken and Mac n cheese. It lacked flavor all the way around. The chicken didn't have a lick of seasoning and the Mac and cheese was bland. We will definitely come back though

I came to Thirsty Lion on a Saturday to try something new, the atmosphere was great, Marvin was very friendly and always made sure i was well taken care of, the drinks were amazing! Dont let me get started on the food!! Everything was delicious from appetizers to dessert. I definitely recommend this place for anyone trying to find a good place with an amazing crowd

Tried the Garden Power Bowl with grilled salmon, the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich, and the Wagyu Beef & Bacon Jam Burger. The Garden Power Bowl was fresh and balanced, and the salmon was cooked perfectly. The pulled pork sandwich had great flavor with the crispy onion strings, and the Wagyu burger was juicy and rich. The only downside was that the service did take a while for our food and drinks to come out, especially since it wasn’t very busy when we went. Other than that, the food and atmosphere were great and we would definitely come back.

We’re visiting from Georgia and wanted to try a restaurant that we couldn’t find at home. Our search led us to Thirsty Lion and we’re so glad it did. The food was absolutely amazing and our server Danny was the absolute best! He was attentive and made sure that everything was to our liking. We have one more day in Irving and will likely come back before we leave. Highly recommend!

I’ve always been a fan of Thirsty Lion, but the last couple visits have been disappointing. I had the Guinness stew from the March seasonal menu, and it lacked meat. Which takes me to my recent visit on Sunday. I got the chilaquiles from the brunch menu. My picture was taken after stirring up the dish to find the chorizo among the large amount of chips. The waitress came to the table and said I have the wrong order and asked if my egg was cooked ok. I told her the egg was good, but did I get a dish without chorizo? She said it had chorizo, but she would bring me a serving because of the mix up. The entrees are becoming more fillers and less meat in my opinion. And the servers are doing the least amount of work and expecting to be tipped the minimum default tip of 18%, while standing over you with the pay machine.
